أعلن الاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم تحديد يوم 24 أغسطس الجاري موعداً لسحب قرعة النسخة الثالثة من دوري أبطال الخليج للأندية لموسم 2026-2027، التي تنطلق منافساتها في 13 أكتوبر 2026، وتستمر حتى 30 أبريل 2027، بمشاركة 12 نادياً تمثل الاتحادات الوطنية الأعضاء.

وأكد الاتحاد الخليجي أن مراسم القرعة ستسحب عند الساعة 12:00 ظهراً بتوقيت الدوحة عبر الاتصال المرئي.

ووفقاً للائحة التنظيمية للمسابقة سيجري توزيع الفرق الـ 12 المشاركة على ثلاث مجموعات، تضم كل مجموعة أربعة فرق، إذ يقضي نظام الدوري بتأهل أول وثاني كل مجموعة، إضافة إلى أفضل فريقين يحتلّان المركز الثالث في المجموعات الثلاث إلى الدور ربع النهائي الذي سيقام بنظام الذهاب والإياب.

ومن المنتظر أن تشهد النسخة الثالثة أكبر مشاركة في تاريخ الدوري منذ انطلاقته، بعد قرار زيادة عدد الأندية من 8 إلى 12 نادياً، في خطوة تعكس تطور الدوري وتوسع قاعدة المشاركة بين الاتحادات الأعضاء، بما يسهم في رفع المستوى التنافسي وتعزيز مكانة المسابقة على مستوى المنطقة.

وضمت قائمة الأندية المشاركة:

• السعودية: نادي الاتفاق، نادي نيوم.

• الإمارات: نادي النصر، نادي عجمان.

• قطر: نادي الدحيل، نادي قطر.

• العراق: نادي أربيل، نادي الزوراء.

• عُمان: نادي الشباب.

• البحرين: نادي الرفاع.

• الكويت: نادي كاظمة.

• اليمن: نادي شعب حضرموت.

ويهدف إعلان الموعد المبكر لمراسم القرعة إلى إتاحة الوقت الكافي أمام الأندية والاتحادات الوطنية لاستكمال استعداداتها الفنية والتنظيمية قبل انطلاق منافسات الدوري؛ ما يعزز جاهزية الفرق ويُسهم في رفع جودة المنافسة.

The Gulf Football Federation announced that the draw for the third edition of the Gulf Clubs Champions League for the 2026-2027 season will take place on August 24, with the competition starting on October 13, 2026, and continuing until April 30, 2027, featuring 12 clubs representing the member national federations.

The Gulf Federation confirmed that the draw ceremony will be held at 12:00 PM Doha time via video conference.

According to the competition's regulatory framework, the 12 participating teams will be divided into three groups, each consisting of four teams. The league system allows for the top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams from the three groups, to qualify for the quarter-finals, which will be held in a home-and-away format.

This third edition is expected to witness the largest participation in the league's history since its inception, following the decision to increase the number of clubs from 8 to 12, reflecting the league's development and expanding participation among member federations, which contributes to raising the competitive level and enhancing the status of the competition in the region.

The list of participating clubs includes:

• Saudi Arabia: Al-Ettifaq Club, Neom Club.

• UAE: Al-Nasr Club, Ajman Club.

• Qatar: Al-Duhail Club, Qatar Club.

• Iraq: Erbil Club, Al-Zawraa Club.

• Oman: Al-Shabab Club.

• Bahrain: Al-Riffa Club.

• Kuwait: Kazma Club.

• Yemen: Shabab Hadramout Club.

The early announcement of the draw date aims to provide sufficient time for clubs and national federations to complete their technical and organizational preparations before the league's competitions begin, thereby enhancing the teams' readiness and contributing to improving the quality of the competition.
