اقترب نادي الخليج من إغلاق ملف محترفيه الأجانب استعداداً للموسم الرياضي الجديد، ليكون من أوائل أندية دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين التي تحسم هذا الملف، مستفيداً من حصوله على شهادة الكفاءة المالية مبكراً، وهو ما منح الإدارة مرونة في إنهاء إجراءات التعاقدات والتسجيل قبل انطلاق الموسم.

ولم يتبق سوى استكمال إجراءات التعاقد مع المهاجم الجامبي موسى بارو، الذي ينتظر اجتياز الفحص الطبي قبل الإعلان الرسمي عن الصفقة، ليصبح المحترف الأجنبي الثامن في صفوف الفريق.

وكانت إدارة الخليج قد دعمت صفوفها خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية بالتعاقد مع البرتغالي ميغيل كريسبو، والمالي كيكي كوياتي، والإسباني عمر ماسكاريل، والفرنسي أنجيلو فولجيني، فيما حافظ الفريق على خدمات الثلاثي البرتغالي بيدرو ريبوتشو، والنرويجي جوشوا كينغ، واللوكسمبورغي أنتوني موريس.

وتزامنت التعاقدات مع المعسكر الإعدادي الذي أقامه الخليج في هولندا لمدة 20 يوماً، بمشاركة 34 لاعباً، بينهم 27 لاعباً محلياً، يتقدمهم 6 من فئة تحت 21 عاماً، إلى جانب 7 محترفين أجانب. وخاض الفريق 5 مباريات ودية، منح خلالها الجهاز الفني بقيادة البرتغالي جوزيه جوميز الفرصة للوقوف على جاهزية اللاعبين، قبل الاستقرار على ملامح التشكيلة التي سيخوض بها منافسات الموسم الجديد.

ويأمل الخليج في إنهاء إجراءات صفقة بارو ليغلق ملف محترفيه الأجانب مبكراً، قبل أن يدشن مشواره في دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين بمواجهة التعاون خارج أرضه في الجولة الأولى.

The Al-Khaleej Club is close to finalizing its foreign professional players' file in preparation for the new sports season, becoming one of the first clubs in the Saudi Pro League to resolve this matter, benefiting from obtaining the financial efficiency certificate early, which has given the management flexibility to complete the contracting and registration procedures before the season starts.

Only the completion of the contract procedures with Gambian striker Musa Barrow remains, who is awaiting the medical examination before the official announcement of the deal, making him the eighth foreign professional in the team's ranks.

The Al-Khaleej management has strengthened its squad during the summer transfer period by signing Portuguese Miguel Crespo, Malian Kiki Kouyaté, Spanish Omar Mascarell, and French Angelo Fulgini, while the team has retained the services of the Portuguese trio Pedro Ribeiro, Norwegian Joshua King, and Luxembourgish Anthony Morris.

The signings coincided with the preparatory camp that Al-Khaleej held in the Netherlands for 20 days, with the participation of 34 players, including 27 local players, led by 6 under-21 players, in addition to 7 foreign professionals. The team played 5 friendly matches, during which the coaching staff, led by Portuguese José Gomes, had the opportunity to assess the players' readiness before settling on the features of the lineup that will compete in the new season.

Al-Khaleej hopes to finalize the Barrow deal to close the file of its foreign professionals early, before starting its journey in the Saudi Pro League with an away match against Al-Taawoun in the first round.
