انتقل إلى رحمة الله تعالى، وكيل وزارة الرياضة المساعد لشؤون الرياضة السابق الرئيس التنفيذي السابق لنادي أبها خالد محمد عسيري، بعد مسيرة مهنية حافلة بالعطاء في القطاع الرياضي، تقلد خلالها العديد من المناصب القيادية وأسهم في خدمة الرياضة السعودية.

وشغل الراحل عدداً من المناصب، من أبرزها؛ وكيل وزارة الرياضة المساعد لشؤون الرياضة، نائب وكيل الرئيس العام لشؤون الرياضة، مدير عام مكتب الهيئة العامة للرياضة بالمنطقة الوسطى، مدير عام الأندية والاتحادات الرياضية، رئيس مجلس إدارة بيوت الشباب بمنطقتَي عسير ونجران، مدير عام اتحاد البولينج، مدير عام إدارة المتابعة، مدير مكتب وزارة الرياضة بمنطقتَي عسير ونجران.

كما عُيّن في 2021 رئيساً تنفيذياً لنادي أبها، مستفيداً من خبرته الإدارية الواسعة، إذ كان يحمل درجة البكالوريوس في الإدارة العامة ودرجة الماجستير في الرقابة المالية.

وعمل الراحل مستشاراً لوكيل الرئيس العام لشؤون الرياضة، وكان من الكفاءات الإدارية التي أسهمت في تطوير العمل الرياضي بالمملكة، تاركاً بصمة مميزة في مسيرته المهنية.

The former Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports for Sports Affairs and former CEO of Abha Club, Khalid Mohammed Asiri, has passed away, may God have mercy on him, after a distinguished career filled with contributions to the sports sector, during which he held many leadership positions and contributed to the service of Saudi sports.

The deceased held several positions, the most notable of which include: Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports for Sports Affairs, Deputy Undersecretary of the General Presidency for Sports Affairs, General Director of the General Sports Authority Office in the Central Region, General Director of Sports Clubs and Federations, Chairman of the Board of Youth Houses in the Asir and Najran regions, General Director of the Bowling Federation, General Director of the Follow-up Department, and Director of the Ministry of Sports Office in the Asir and Najran regions.

He was also appointed in 2021 as the CEO of Abha Club, benefiting from his extensive administrative experience, as he held a bachelor's degree in public administration and a master's degree in financial control.

The late individual worked as an advisor to the Undersecretary of the General Presidency for Sports Affairs and was one of the administrative talents that contributed to the development of sports work in the Kingdom, leaving a distinctive mark in his professional journey.
