طوى النادي الأهلي صفحة المدرب الألماني ماتياس يايسله، وافتتح فصلاً جديداً بإسناد القيادة الفنية إلى الهولندي مارينو بوسيتش بعقد يمتد حتى عام 2028، في خطوة تستهدف الحفاظ على الاستقرار الفني ومواصلة المنافسة على البطولات المحلية والقارية.

ويغادر يايسله الأهلي بعد مسيرة تدريبية بدأت قبل سنوات من وصوله إلى جدة، إذ عمل مساعداً للمدرب في نادي بروندبي الدنماركي، قبل أن يتولى تدريب فريق تحت 18 عاماً في أكاديمية ريد بول سالزبورغ، ثم يخوض أولى تجاربه مع ليفرينغ النمساوي، إذ لفت الأنظار بالنتائج والمستويات الفنية التي قدمها الفريق. وبعدها تولى قيادة ريد بول سالزبورغ، وحقق معه لقب الدوري النمساوي مرتين، وكأس النمسا، كما قاد النادي إلى إنجاز تاريخي بالتأهل إلى الأدوار الإقصائية من دوري أبطال أوروبا لأول مرة في تاريخه.

وخلال مسيرته مع الأهلي، نجح يايسله في كتابة صفحة تاريخية في سجل النادي، بعدما قاد الفريق للتتويج بلقب دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة مرتين متتاليتين، إلى جانب إحراز كأس السوبر السعودي، كما أعاد الفريق إلى دائرة المنافسة على جميع البطولات المحلية والقارية، ورسّخ هوية فنية واضحة اعتمدت على الضغط العالي والانضباط التكتيكي، ليغادر بعد ثلاثة ألقاب كبرى تركت بصمة بارزة في تاريخ النادي.

في المقابل، يصل مارينو بوسيتش إلى الأهلي بسجل تدريبي حافل بالنجاحات، بعدما توج بخمس بطولات خلال مسيرته، أبرزها لقب الدوري الهولندي مع فينورد، والدوري الأوكراني مع شاختار دونيتسك، إلى جانب كأس أوكرانيا مرتين، ولقب دوري الدرجة الثانية الهولندي مع تفينتي، فضلاً عن قيادته شاختار للمشاركة في دوري أبطال أوروبا.

وتنقل المدرب الهولندي بين عدة محطات بارزة، إذ عمل مساعداً لمواطنه آرني سلوت في ألكمار ثم في فينورد، قبل أن يبدأ مشواره كمدرب أول مع تفينتي الهولندي، ثم يقود شاختار دونيتسك بين عامي 2023 و2025 محققاً معه عدة ألقاب، قبل أن يخوض تجربة في الدوري الإماراتي مع الجزيرة خلال موسم 2025-2026، لينتقل بعدها إلى الأهلي لبدء تحدٍ جديد مع بطل آسيا.

ويأمل الأهلاويون أن ينجح بوسيتش في البناء على ما تحقق خلال السنوات الماضية، مستفيداً من خبراته الأوروبية، لقيادة الفريق في موسم مزدحم بالاستحقاقات، يتقدمها دوري روشن السعودي، ودوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، وكأس الملك، وكأس السوبر السعودي.

The Al-Ahli Club has turned the page on German coach Matthias Jaissle and opened a new chapter by assigning the technical leadership to Dutchman Marino Pusic with a contract extending until 2028, in a move aimed at maintaining technical stability and continuing to compete for local and continental championships.

Jaissle leaves Al-Ahli after a coaching career that began years before his arrival in Jeddah, as he worked as an assistant coach at the Danish club Brøndby, before taking charge of the under-18 team at the Red Bull Salzburg Academy. He then embarked on his first coaching experience with LASK Linz in Austria, where he caught attention with the results and the technical levels his team achieved. After that, he took over at Red Bull Salzburg, winning the Austrian league title twice and the Austrian Cup, and leading the club to a historic achievement by qualifying for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in its history.

During his time with Al-Ahli, Jaissle succeeded in writing a historic chapter in the club's record, leading the team to win the AFC Champions League title twice in a row, in addition to winning the Saudi Super Cup. He also brought the team back into contention for all local and continental championships, establishing a clear technical identity based on high pressing and tactical discipline, leaving after three major titles that left a significant mark in the club's history.

On the other hand, Marino Pusic arrives at Al-Ahli with a successful coaching record, having won five championships during his career, most notably the Dutch league title with Feyenoord, the Ukrainian league with Shakhtar Donetsk, as well as the Ukrainian Cup twice, and the Dutch second division title with Twente, in addition to leading Shakhtar to participate in the UEFA Champions League.

The Dutch coach has moved between several prominent stations, having worked as an assistant to his compatriot Arne Slot at AZ Alkmaar and then at Feyenoord, before starting his journey as a head coach with Twente, and then leading Shakhtar Donetsk between 2023 and 2025, achieving several titles, before experiencing a stint in the UAE League with Al-Jazira during the 2025-2026 season, and then moving to Al-Ahli to start a new challenge with the Asian champions.

Al-Ahli fans hope that Pusic will succeed in building on what has been achieved over the past years, benefiting from his European experiences to lead the team in a busy season filled with challenges, including the Roshn Saudi League, the AFC Champions League, the King’s Cup, and the Saudi Super Cup.
