تركي العبدالله الفيصل: كف يا هذا عن أكاذيبك.. فهذا تجاوز على تاريخ والدي

بدأ هذه المرة الأمير تركي العبدالله الفيصل على غير العادة غاضباً ومنزعجاً مما يتم تداوله على أنه كتاب يجب أن يروى عن والده الأمير عبدالله الفيصل، إذ قال في تصريحات متتالية لـ«عكاظ»: «لا أعلم ماذا يريد من اتخذ من تاريخ عبدالله الفيصل، والدي ووالد كل الرياضيين، وسيلةً لإعادة حضوره الإعلامي بطرح أقل ما يقال عنه إنه خارج نطاق الاحترام، فما يضعه اليوم من خلال سرد روائي منسوب لوالدي فيه من اللغط ما يجعلني أتساءل ماذا يريد من هذا العمل غير المهني وغير الأخلاقي، ففيه من السقطات والإسقاطات ما يجعلني أسيء الظن فيما تم طرحه».

وأضاف الأمير تركي: «أسيء الظن كون بطل هذه الادعاءات المنسوبة إلى رائد الحركة الرياضية في المملكة لم تُعرض علينا أو حتى يقدّم لنا حقيقة الكتاب الذي نعرف نحن حقيقته».

ومضى الأمير تركي العبدالله الفيصل في تصريحاته قائلاً: «من أول أسبوع تم التنويه فيه عن نشر هذه الحلقات حذّرت وطالبت بضرورة إيقافها، إلّا أن بطل هذه الرواية تجاهل ذلك، وهذا للأسف يجعلني أشك أن خلف هذا النشر وفي هذا التوقيت أمر يخدم أجندة هذا الراوي ومن شجّعه على تلك الروايات غير الدقيقة، التي غلب عليها سرد لا يمثّل والدي ولا يرضي كل من يعرف ويحب عبدالله الفيصل».

وأوضح ابن رائد الرياضة في سياق حديثه أن تاريخ الأمير عبدالله الفيصل حق متاح لكل من يريد معرفته والبحث فيه عبر مصادر وثّقت التاريخ كما هو، ولسنا بحاجة اليوم أن يروى للجيل الحالي مثل هذه الحكايات التي تُمثّل وجهة نظر راويها ولا تُمثّل سيدي ووالدي الرياضي والأديب والشاعر والسياسي.

وحول سؤال عمَّا إذا كان ينوي المقاضاة، قال الأمير تركي: «من طبعنا لا نحب الدخول في قضايا مع أحد، ولا يمكن أن نسمح أن يمس تاريخ والدنا عبدالله الفيصل بسطر يخل بثوابت تاريخه، ومن هذا المنطلق وجّهت من خلال «عكاظ» عدة رسائل، لكن دون جدوى، ولا أعلم ماذا يريد الراوي، لكنني أعلم يقيناً أن ما نشره لا يُمثّل تاريخ عبدالله الفيصل، وكنت أنتظر من الإخوان الذين استشهد بهم لو ظهروا وقالوا ما يجب أن يقال، فصمتهم يدينهم أمام كل من قرأ تلك الروايات».

أكرر، كل ما وهبه والدي لوطنه في الرياضة وغيرها مدعاة فخر واعتزاز لنا، ولا نحتاج إلى من يعيد نشره وفق روايات تُمثّل كاتبها ولا تُمثّل تاريخ الأمير عبدالله الفيصل الذي يعدّ محفوظاً في ذاكرة الوطن.

وختم الأمير تركي العبدالله الفيصل بقوله: «حاضرنا جميل في الرياضة وغيرها، يفترض أن يُمنح ما يستحق من الإعلام، أما الماضي ونبشه الآن فالهدف منه إثارة صراعات إعلامية أربأ بتاريخ والدي أن يكون جزءاً منها».

This time, Prince Turki Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal began unusually angry and annoyed by what is being circulated as a book that should be told about his father, Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal. He stated in consecutive remarks to "Okaz": "I do not know what those who have taken the history of Abdullah Al-Faisal, my father and the father of all athletes, want by using it as a means to revive his media presence with a narrative that can only be described as disrespectful. What is being presented today through a fictional narrative attributed to my father contains so much confusion that makes me wonder what the intention behind this unprofessional and unethical work is, as it includes errors and misrepresentations that lead me to suspect the motives behind what has been presented."

Prince Turki added: "I have reason to be suspicious because the hero of these allegations attributed to the pioneer of the sports movement in the Kingdom has not been presented to us, nor has the truth of the book been offered to us, which we know to be true."

Prince Turki Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal continued in his statements, saying: "From the very first week that the publication of these episodes was announced, I warned and demanded that they be stopped. However, the hero of this narrative ignored that, and unfortunately, this makes me doubt that there is something behind this publication at this timing that serves the agenda of this narrator and those who encouraged him to present these inaccurate narratives, which are dominated by a storytelling style that does not represent my father and does not satisfy anyone who knows and loves Abdullah Al-Faisal."

He clarified that the history of Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal is accessible to anyone who wants to know it and research it through sources that documented history as it is, and we do not need today for the current generation to hear such tales that represent the narrator's viewpoint and do not represent my master and father, the athlete, writer, poet, and politician.

Regarding the question of whether he intends to file a lawsuit, Prince Turki said: "By our nature, we do not like to engage in disputes with anyone, and we cannot allow the history of our father Abdullah Al-Faisal to be marred by a line that undermines the constants of his history. From this standpoint, I have sent several messages through 'Okaz,' but to no avail. I do not know what the narrator wants, but I know for certain that what he published does not represent the history of Abdullah Al-Faisal, and I was hoping that the brothers he cited would have come forward and said what needed to be said, as their silence condemns them in front of everyone who read those narratives."

I reiterate, everything my father has given to his country in sports and other fields is a source of pride and honor for us, and we do not need anyone to republish it according to narratives that represent the author and do not represent the history of Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal, which is preserved in the memory of the nation.

Prince Turki Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal concluded by saying: "Our present is beautiful in sports and other areas, and it should receive the recognition it deserves from the media. As for the past and digging it up now, the goal is to stir up media conflicts that I would rather my father's history not be a part of."
