5 مرشحين يتنافسون على رئاسة اتحاد القدم

دخلت انتخابات مجلس إدارة الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم مرحلة جديدة عقب إغلاق باب الترشح رسمياً، بتقدم 5 مرشحين لخوض سباق رئاسة الاتحاد للدورة الانتخابية (2026-2030)، في انتظار انتهاء لجنة الانتخابات من فحص ملفات الترشح وإعلان القوائم الأولية، قبل فتح باب الطعون والتظلمات، وصولاً إلى انتخاب المجلس الجديد في الجمعية العمومية غير العادية المقررة يوم 30 أغسطس الجاري.

وضمت قائمة المرشحين لرئاسة الاتحاد كلاً من: الدكتور خالد الغامدي، وبدر الرزيزاء، وأحمد الوادعي، وتركي الضبعان، وحاتم خيمي، في انتخابات يُنتظر أن تشهد منافسة قوية لحسم قيادة الكرة السعودية خلال المرحلة القادمة.

وأعلن الدكتور خالد الغامدي قائمته الانتخابية التي تضم: صالح أبو نخاع، ومونس الضوي، والدكتور فيصل الشريف، وإبراهيم العنقري، وخالد الهندي، ومحمد المقاطي، مستنداً إلى مجموعة من الأسماء ذات الخبرات الإدارية والرياضية.

كما كشف أحمد الوادعي قائمته التي ضمت: عبدالرحمن الرومي، ومحمد السويلم، ومحمد أبو عراد الشهري، وسليمان الصقير، وعبدالله المسند، والدكتور عبداللطيف العسيري، ومحمد اليامي، وسمر الصايل.

وأعلن بدر الرزيزاء قائمته الانتخابية، التي يترأسها، ويشغل فيها لؤي مشعبي منصب نائب الرئيس، فيما تضم في عضويتها: فهد المنصور، ونيكولاس كوارد، وسلمان السديري، ولمياء بن بهيان، وتامر السعدون، وعمر الجريسي، وجيرارد رودي، إلى جانب عدد من المختصين في مجالات الحوكمة، والتخطيط، والاستثمار، وكرة القدم النسائية، وتطوير الفئات السنية.

في المقابل، أعلن تركي الضبعان قائمته الانتخابية التي ضمت عبدالعزيز الجديع نائباً للرئيس، وعضوية كل من: يوسف السليم، ومحمد المشعل، وماجد الغيث، وجيهان المحمود، وإبراهيم الحضيف، ووائل بن راشد، وخالد العماري، وسعد البشري، ومحمد العساف.

كما تقدم حاتم خيمي بملف ترشحه بعد استكمال قائمته الانتخابية التي تضم: المحامي خالد أبو راشد، والدكتور سلطان الحربي، والبروفيسور محمد القحطاني، والبروفيسورة فاطمة المؤيد، ومحمد الخليفة، ومحمد القاسم، والدكتور عبدالله النعيم، وعبدالعزيز الرويلي، والكابتن الحسن اليامي، والخبير السويسري جيمي بيريشا، والدكتور حسن خربوش، فيما اختير عادل البطي أميناً عاماً للقائمة.

ووفق البرنامج الزمني المعتمد، تستمر لجنة الانتخابات في فحص ملفات المرشحين حتى السابع من أغسطس، قبل إعلان القوائم الأولية، ثم استقبال الطعون والتظلمات، واعتماد القوائم النهائية في 26 أغسطس، لتنطلق بعدها الحملات الانتخابية حتى 29 أغسطس، فيما تُجرى الانتخابات يوم 30 أغسطس لاختيار رئيس وأعضاء مجلس إدارة الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم للدورة الجديدة.

وينتظر المجلس المنتخب ملفات إستراتيجية عدة، يأتي في مقدمتها إعداد المنتخب السعودي للاستحقاقات القارية والدولية القادمة، وتطوير منظومة التحكيم، والارتقاء بمسابقات الفئات السنية، وتعزيز الحوكمة، ودعم مسيرة كرة القدم السعودية بما يتواكب مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 واستضافة كأس العالم 2034.

The Saudi Football Federation's Board of Directors elections have entered a new phase following the official closure of the nomination period, with 5 candidates stepping forward to compete for the presidency of the federation for the electoral term (2026-2030). This comes as we await the election committee's completion of reviewing the nomination files and the announcement of the preliminary lists, before opening the door for appeals and grievances, leading up to the election of the new council at the extraordinary general assembly scheduled for August 30.

The list of candidates for the presidency of the federation includes: Dr. Khalid Al-Ghamdi, Badr Al-Raziz, Ahmed Al-Wad'i, Turki Al-Dabaan, and Hatem Khaimi, in elections expected to witness strong competition to determine the leadership of Saudi football during the upcoming phase.

Dr. Khalid Al-Ghamdi announced his electoral list, which includes: Saleh Abu Nakha, Moons Al-Dhawi, Dr. Faisal Al-Sharif, Ibrahim Al-Anqari, Khalid Al-Hindi, and Mohammed Al-Muqati, relying on a group of individuals with administrative and sports experience.

Ahmed Al-Wad'i also revealed his list, which includes: Abdulrahman Al-Roumi, Mohammed Al-Suwailem, Mohammed Abu Arad Al-Shahri, Suleiman Al-Suqair, Abdullah Al-Masnedd, Dr. Abdulatif Al-Asiri, Mohammed Al-Yami, and Samar Al-Sayel.

Badr Al-Raziz announced his electoral list, which he heads, with Louay Mush'abi serving as vice president. The membership includes: Fahd Al-Mansour, Nicholas Kward, Salman Al-Sudairi, Lamya Bin Bahyan, Tamer Al-Saadoun, Omar Al-Juraisi, and Gerard Rudi, along with several specialists in governance, planning, investment, women's football, and youth development.

In contrast, Turki Al-Dabaan announced his electoral list, which includes Abdulaziz Al-Judai as vice president, and the membership of: Youssef Al-Saleem, Mohammed Al-Mash'al, Majid Al-Ghaith, Jihan Al-Mahmoud, Ibrahim Al-Hudaif, Wael Bin Rashid, Khalid Al-Amari, Saad Al-Bushri, and Mohammed Al-Asaf.

Hatem Khaimi also submitted his nomination file after completing his electoral list, which includes: lawyer Khalid Abu Rashid, Dr. Sultan Al-Harbi, Professor Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Professor Fatima Al-Muayyad, Mohammed Al-Khalifa, Mohammed Al-Qasim, Dr. Abdullah Al-Naeem, Abdulaziz Al-Ruwaili, Captain Hassan Al-Yami, Swiss expert Jimmy Berisha, and Dr. Hassan Kharboush, while Adel Al-Batti was chosen as the secretary-general of the list.

According to the approved timeline, the election committee will continue to review the candidates' files until August 7, before announcing the preliminary lists, then receiving appeals and grievances, and finalizing the lists on August 26. Election campaigns will then run until August 29, with the elections taking place on August 30 to select the president and members of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Federation for the new term.

The elected council is expected to address several strategic files, foremost among them preparing the Saudi national team for upcoming continental and international competitions, developing the refereeing system, enhancing youth competitions, strengthening governance, and supporting the journey of Saudi football in line with the objectives of Vision 2030 and hosting the 2034 World Cup.
