أعلن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم «فيفا» استكمال برنامجه الشامل لمكافحة المنشطات خلال بطولة كأس العالم 2026، التي اختتمت مؤخرًا، بعد تنفيذ 1933 اختبارًا قبل انطلاق البطولة وخلال منافساتها، في إطار جهوده لحماية نزاهة المنافسات وضمان تكافؤ الفرص بين جميع المنتخبات المشاركة.

وأوضح «فيفا» أن البرنامج شمل إجراء 1250 اختبارًا خارج إطار المنافسات خلال الأشهر الستة التي سبقت انطلاق البطولة، بالتعاون مع 14 منظمة وطنية لمكافحة المنشطات والاتحادات القارية، فيما أُجري خلال البطولة 416 اختبارًا عقب المباريات، إلى جانب 267 اختبارًا خارج إطار المنافسات، ليصل إجمالي الاختبارات إلى 1933 اختبارًا.

وأكد أن جميع الإجراءات نُفذت وفق لوائح مكافحة المنشطات والمدونة العالمية لمكافحة المنشطات، بما يجسد التزامه بتطبيق برنامج اختبارات شامل يمتد من مرحلة الإعداد للبطولة حتى المباراة النهائية.

وأشار إلى أن استراتيجية الاختبارات اعتمدت بصورة كبيرة على جمع عينات الدم، إذ جُمعت قبل البطولة أكثر من 1000 عينة دم و1250 عينة بول، فيما جُمعت خلال المنافسات 237 عينة دم و683 عينة بول، ليتجاوز إجمالي العينات التي خضعت للفحص 3100 عينة.

وأضاف أن جميع العينات خضعت للمراجعة من قبل وحدة إدارة جواز السفر البيولوجي للرياضيين، التي تضم خبراء مستقلين، بهدف رصد أي مؤشرات قد تدل على استخدام مواد أو وسائل محظورة لتحسين الأداء.

وأوضح «فيفا» أنه سيصدر خلال العام الجاري تقريرًا مفصلًا يتضمن نتائج وإحصاءات إضافية عن برنامج مكافحة المنشطات الذي نُفذ خلال البطولة.

The International Football Federation "FIFA" announced the completion of its comprehensive anti-doping program during the 2026 World Cup, which recently concluded, after conducting 1,933 tests before and during the tournament, as part of its efforts to protect the integrity of competitions and ensure equal opportunities among all participating teams.

FIFA explained that the program included conducting 1,250 tests outside of competition during the six months leading up to the tournament, in collaboration with 14 national anti-doping organizations and continental federations, while 416 tests were conducted during the tournament after matches, in addition to 267 tests outside of competition, bringing the total number of tests to 1,933.

It confirmed that all procedures were carried out in accordance with anti-doping regulations and the World Anti-Doping Code, reflecting its commitment to implementing a comprehensive testing program that extends from the preparation phase for the tournament to the final match.

It noted that the testing strategy relied heavily on collecting blood samples, with more than 1,000 blood samples and 1,250 urine samples collected before the tournament, while 237 blood samples and 683 urine samples were collected during the competitions, exceeding a total of 3,100 samples that underwent testing.

It added that all samples were reviewed by the Athlete Biological Passport Management Unit, which includes independent experts, to detect any indicators that may suggest the use of prohibited substances or methods to enhance performance.

FIFA clarified that it will issue a detailed report this year that includes results and additional statistics about the anti-doping program implemented during the tournament.
