بعد قيادة نهائي كأس العالم.. فينتشيتش يعتزل التحكيم بعمر 46 عامًا

أسدل الحكم السلوفيني سلافكو فينتشيتش الستار على مسيرته في ملاعب كرة القدم، بعد أيام قليلة من قيادته نهائي كأس العالم 2026 بين إسبانيا والأرجنتين، في واحدة من أبرز محطات مسيرته التحكيمية.

وأعلن الاتحاد السلوفيني لكرة القدم اعتزال فينتشيتش التحكيم بشكل نهائي، بعد مسيرة امتدت لأكثر من عقد على الساحة الدولية، توجها بإنجاز تاريخي بعدما أصبح أول حكم سلوفيني يقود نهائيًا في بطولة كأس العالم، وذلك خلال المباراة التي جمعت إسبانيا والأرجنتين في نهائي مونديال 2026.

وحظي أداء الحكم السلوفيني (46 عامًا) في النهائي باهتمام واسع، وسط جدل بشأن بعض قراراته التحكيمية، خصوصًا في ما يتعلق بتقدير عدد من التدخلات القوية خلال المباراة، إذ رأى منتقدون أن بعض التدخلات العنيفة من لاعبي المنتخب الأرجنتيني كانت تستحق عقوبات أكثر صرامة.

وشهدت الدقائق الأخيرة من المباراة إشهار فينتشيتش البطاقة الحمراء في وجه الأرجنتيني إنزو فرنانديز، بعد تدخل قوي على مدافع المنتخب الإسباني باو كوبارسي، في قرار أثار تفاعلًا واسعًا عقب المباراة، بالتزامن مع حالة من التوتر التي رافقت المواجهة.

ورغم الجدل الذي رافق إدارة النهائي، فإن اختيار فينتشيتش لقيادة المباراة الأهم في كرة القدم العالمية عكس المكانة التي وصل إليها الحكم السلوفيني، الذي كان قد أدار أيضًا نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا عام 2024 بين ريال مدريد وبوروسيا دورتموند، إلى جانب نهائي الدوري الأوروبي عام 2022 بين آينتراخت فرانكفورت ورينجرز.

كما شارك فينتشيتش في نسختي كأس العالم 2022 في قطر و2026، قبل أن يقرر إنهاء مسيرته التحكيمية بعد بلوغه ذروة مسيرته بقيادة نهائي المونديال.

وباعتزاله، يطوي فينتشيتش صفحة واحدة من أبرز المسيرات التحكيمية في تاريخ سلوفينيا، بعدما أصبح أول حكم من بلاده يقود نهائي كأس العالم، ليختار إسدال الستار على مشواره من أكبر مسرح كروي في العالم.

The Slovenian referee Slavko Vinčič has drawn the curtain on his football officiating career, just days after he officiated the 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, marking one of the highlights of his refereeing journey.

The Slovenian Football Association announced Vinčič's retirement from refereeing permanently, after a career that spanned over a decade on the international stage, culminating in a historic achievement as he became the first Slovenian referee to officiate a final in the World Cup, during the match that brought together Spain and Argentina in the 2026 World Cup final.

Vinčič's performance (46 years old) in the final garnered wide attention, amidst controversy regarding some of his officiating decisions, particularly concerning the assessment of several strong tackles during the match, as critics felt that some of the violent interventions by Argentine players deserved harsher penalties.

In the final minutes of the match, Vinčič issued a red card to Argentine player Enzo Fernández, after a strong tackle on Spanish defender Pau Torres, a decision that sparked widespread reactions following the match, coinciding with a tense atmosphere that accompanied the encounter.

Despite the controversy surrounding the management of the final, Vinčič's selection to officiate the most important match in global football reflected the status he had achieved as a Slovenian referee, who had also officiated the 2024 UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, as well as the 2022 UEFA Europa League final between Eintracht Frankfurt and Rangers.

Vinčič also participated in the 2022 and 2026 World Cup editions, before deciding to end his refereeing career after reaching the pinnacle of his career by officiating the World Cup final.

With his retirement, Vinčič closes the chapter on one of the most prominent refereeing careers in Slovenia's history, having become the first referee from his country to officiate a World Cup final, choosing to draw the curtain on his journey from the biggest football stage in the world.
