نوريس يهاجم قرارات «فورمولا 1» ويكشف الأزمة الخفية

وجَّه بطل العالم في سباقات «الفورمولا 1» البريطاني لاندو نوريس انتقادات قوية لإدارة البطولة، معتبراً أن القرارات الأخيرة تميل إلى الجانب التجاري وتحقيق الأرباح على حساب تطوير الرياضة وتحسين تجربة السباقات.

وقبل جائزة المجر الكبرى، أعرب سائق مكلارين عن رفضه للوائح المحركات الجديدة لموسم 2026، التي تعتمد توزيعاً متساوياً للطاقة بين محرك الاحتراق الداخلي والنظام الكهربائي، مؤكداً أنها أثرت على طبيعة المنافسات، خصوصاً في الحلبات السريعة مثل سيلفرستون وسبا-فرانكورشان.

وأوضح نوريس أن التغييرات جاءت جزئياً بهدف جذب فرق جديدة مثل أودي وكاديلاك، لكنه يرى أن مصالح الشركات أصبحت أولوية أكبر من آراء السائقين والجماهير. كما أشار إلى أن المشجعين القدامى، الذين تابعوا «الفورمولا 1» قبل انتشار مسلسل «درايف تو سيرفايف»، قد لا يتقبلون الشكل الحالي للبطولة.

وأضاف أن شعبية «الفورمولا 1» أصبحت مرتبطة أكثر بشخصيات السائقين وقصصهم خارج الحلبة، بينما تراجع التركيز على جودة السباقات نفسها.

ورغم انتقاداته، أكد نوريس أن البطولة لا تعاني من أزمة، لكنها تحتاج إلى منح السائقين دوراً أكبر في القرارات لضمان تقديم سباقات أكثر إثارة وتحافظ على جوهر الرياضة.

The British Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris has strongly criticized the management of the championship, considering that recent decisions lean towards commercial interests and profit-making at the expense of developing the sport and improving the racing experience.

Before the Hungarian Grand Prix, the McLaren driver expressed his rejection of the new engine regulations for the 2026 season, which rely on an equal distribution of power between the internal combustion engine and the electric system, emphasizing that it has affected the nature of the competitions, especially on fast tracks like Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps.

Norris explained that the changes were partly aimed at attracting new teams like Audi and Cadillac, but he believes that corporate interests have become a higher priority than the opinions of drivers and fans. He also pointed out that long-time fans, who followed Formula 1 before the rise of the "Drive to Survive" series, may not accept the current format of the championship.

He added that the popularity of Formula 1 has become more linked to the personalities of the drivers and their stories off the track, while the focus on the quality of the races themselves has diminished.

Despite his criticisms, Norris confirmed that the championship is not in crisis, but it needs to give drivers a larger role in decision-making to ensure more exciting races that preserve the essence of the sport.
