«العائلة أولاً».. غوارديولا يرفض تدريب إيطاليا

رفض مدرب مانشستر سيتي السابق بيب غوارديولا عرضاً لتدريب منتخب إيطاليا خلفاً لجينارو غاتوزو الذي رحل عقب فشل التأهل إلى كأس العالم 2026.

وأوضح الصحفي الإيطالي الشهير فابريزيو رومانو، عبر حسابه على منصة «إكس»، أن غوارديولا رفض تدريب منتخب إيطاليا لأسباب شخصية، وليس لأسباب مالية، إذ يكرّس المدرب الإسباني وقته حالياً لعائلته، على أن يعود إلى عالم التدريب عندما يحين الوقت المناسب، ومع مشروع يتناسب مع طموحاته.

مسيرة أسطورية مع السيتي

ورحل بيب غوارديولا عن مانشستر سيتي عقب نهاية الموسم الماضي 2025-2026، مسدلاً الستار على مسيرة أسطورية قاد خلالها الفريق لتحقيق 20 لقباً، ليصبح أفضل مدرب تاريخ النادي الإنجليزي.

تكريم تاريخي

وقرر مانشستر سيتي إطلاق اسم بيب غوارديولا على المدرج الشمالي الذي تم تطويره وتوسيعه حديثاً في ملعب الاتحاد، إضافة إلى تكليف فنان بصنع تمثال للمدرب التاريخي، ليتم عرضه في الطريق المؤدي إلى مدرج بيب غوارديولا.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano explained via his account on the platform "X" that Guardiola declined to coach the Italian national team for personal reasons, not financial ones, as the Spanish coach is currently dedicating his time to his family, planning to return to the coaching world when the right time comes, with a project that aligns with his ambitions.

Pep Guardiola left Manchester City at the end of the last season 2025-2026, bringing down the curtain on a legendary career during which he led the team to achieve 20 titles, becoming the best coach in the history of the English club.

Historic tribute

Manchester City decided to name the newly developed and expanded North Stand at the Etihad Stadium after Pep Guardiola, in addition to commissioning an artist to create a statue of the legendary coach, which will be displayed on the path leading to the Pep Guardiola Stand.
