بسبب اسم لاعب.. وزير الرياضة المصري يفتح تحقيقاً عاجلاً

أثارت واقعة استبعاد اللاعب الناشئ مكاري يونان، من اختبارات قطاع الناشئين بنادي الاتحاد السكندري المصري، جدلاً واسعاً خلال الساعات الماضية، بعدما تقدمت والدته بشكوى تزعم فيها أن نجلها تم استبعاده بسبب اسمه، وليس لأسباب فنية.

وبناءً على ما تم تداوله في وسائل الإعلام ومواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، قرر وزير الشباب والرياضة المصري جوهر نبيل، فتح تحقيق فوري وعاجل للتحقق من صحة الواقعة، مؤكداً أنه في حال ثبوت وجود مخالفة أو تمييز ضد اللاعب، سيتم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية والتأديبية اللازمة بحق المسؤول عن ذلك.

وكانت والدة اللاعب قد ذكرت أن نجلها، من مواليد عام 2013، شارك في اختبارات الفريق، وأن المدير الفني أحمد ساري أبدى إعجابه بمستواه قبل أن يسأله عن اسمه، ثم أبلغه – وفق روايتها – بأن الاسم لا يناسب الانضمام للفريق.

من جانبه، نفى مدرب فريق الاتحاد السكندري مواليد 2013 أحمد ساري، صحة هذه الادعاءات، مؤكداً أن استبعاد اللاعب جاء لأسباب فنية فقط، وأنه لم يتخذ أي قرار بناءً على اسم اللاعب أو أي اعتبارات أخرى.

كما أعلن مجلس إدارة نادي الاتحاد السكندري فتح تحقيق داخلي للوقوف على ملابسات الواقعة، مشدداً على رفضه الكامل لأي شكل من أشكال التمييز، وأن اختبارات الناشئين تعتمد على المعايير الفنية والبدنية والسلوكية فقط، مع التأكيد على التزام النادي بمبدأ تكافؤ الفرص بين جميع المتقدمين.

The incident of the exclusion of the young player Makari Younan from the youth sector trials at the Egyptian club Al-Ittihad Alexandria has sparked widespread controversy in recent hours, after his mother filed a complaint claiming that her son was excluded because of his name, and not for technical reasons.

Based on what has been circulated in the media and on social media platforms, the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, Jawhar Nabil, decided to open an immediate and urgent investigation to verify the authenticity of the incident, confirming that if any violation or discrimination against the player is proven, the necessary legal and disciplinary actions will be taken against those responsible.

The player's mother mentioned that her son, born in 2013, participated in the team trials, and that the coach Ahmed Sari expressed his admiration for his level before asking him about his name, then informed him – according to her account – that the name was not suitable for joining the team.

For his part, the coach of the Al-Ittihad Alexandria team for players born in 2013, Ahmed Sari, denied the validity of these allegations, confirming that the player's exclusion was due solely to technical reasons, and that he did not make any decision based on the player's name or any other considerations.

The Board of Directors of Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club also announced the opening of an internal investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident, emphasizing its complete rejection of any form of discrimination, and that the youth trials depend solely on technical, physical, and behavioral criteria, while reaffirming the club's commitment to the principle of equal opportunities among all applicants.
