مودريتش «الأربعيني» يواصل مشواره مع ميلان

أعلن نادي إيه سي ميلان الإيطالي، اليوم (الخميس)، تجديد عقد نجمه الكرواتي لوكا مودريتش لمدة موسم واحد.

وقال النادي في بيان عبر موقعه الرسمي: «يسر نادي إيه سي ميلان أن يعلن أن لوكا مودريتش قد وقع عقداً لموسم آخر، حتى 30 يونيو 2027».

ركيزة أساسية في خط الوسط

وأضاف البيان: «يُعدّ لوكا ركيزة أساسية في خط وسط ميلان منذ انضمامه، إذ وظّف خبرته وموهبته لخدمة الفريق داخل الملعب وخارجه بتواضع وشغف كبيرين، وسيواصل الكرواتي، أحد أبرز وأشهر لاعبي كرة القدم في العالم، مسيرته بقميص ميلان، بعدما خاض معه 37 مباراة وسجل هدفين الموسم الماضي، طامحاً لتحقيق إنجازات جديدة ومهمة».

اتصالات إبراهيموفيتش حسمت القرار

كانت تقارير صحفية قد ذكرت قبل أيام أن كبير مستشاري النادي زلاتان إبراهيموفيتش تواصل هاتفياً مع مودريتش مرتين خلال الفترة الأخيرة لإقناعه بتجديد عقده، مؤكداً له مدى رغبة إدارة النادي والمدرب الجديد روبن أموريم في استمراره مع ميلان لموسم إضافي.

دور قيادي داخل وخارج الملعب

وأوضحت التقارير أن إبراهيموفيتش لم يعد مودريتش بالحصول على عدد الدقائق نفسه الذي شارك به في الموسم الماضي، بل عرض عليه دوراً أكبر داخل الفريق، أشبه بـ«قائد إداري» في غرفة الملابس، يقود المجموعة الجديدة داخل الملعب وخارجه.

AC Milan, the Italian club, announced today (Thursday) the renewal of its Croatian star Luka Modrić's contract for one more season.

The club stated in a statement on its official website: "AC Milan is pleased to announce that Luka Modrić has signed a contract for another season, until June 30, 2027."

A Key Pillar in Midfield

The statement added: "Luka has been a key pillar in Milan's midfield since joining, utilizing his experience and talent to serve the team both on and off the pitch with great humility and passion. The Croatian, one of the most prominent and famous football players in the world, will continue his journey wearing the Milan jersey, after having played 37 matches and scored two goals last season, aspiring to achieve new and significant accomplishments."

Ibrahimović's Calls Sealed the Decision

Recent media reports indicated that the club's senior advisor Zlatan Ibrahimović had contacted Modrić by phone twice in recent times to persuade him to renew his contract, emphasizing the desire of the club's management and the new coach Ruben Amorim for him to continue with Milan for an additional season.

A Leadership Role On and Off the Pitch

Reports clarified that Ibrahimović did not promise Modrić the same number of minutes he played last season, but rather offered him a larger role within the team, akin to a "managerial leader" in the locker room, guiding the new group both on and off the pitch.
